Abstract

The thesis deals with various problems associated with the metaphysics of temporal entities and argues that many of them occur only if we assume from the outset that temporal entities have parts in time. Using tools of contemporary logic and Buddhist philosophy, the thesis argues in favor of a metaphysics in which temporal entities can extend over periods of time without having parts in each moment included in said extension.
