  1. DOŚWIADCZENIE PSYCHODELICZNE JAKO DOŚWIADCZENIE POZNAWCZE.Szymon Nowak - 2015 - Hybris, Revista de FilosofíA (30):094-112.
PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE AND ITS COGNITIVE FUNCTION Among the features marking a mystical experience facilitated by certain kind of psychedelic substances researchers singled out the so-called noetic quality, which indicates that mystical experiences can have a cognitive significance. The main goal of my article is then to address the question, whether this cognitive capacity of mystical experience has only a subjective/psychological value, or it should be rather treated as a legitimate kind of cognition. 2. Sing-ing Hume.Szymon S. Nowak - 2010 - Diametros 24:14-23.

It is commonly believed that Wittgenstein abandoned his conception of logical atomism when he realized the consequences of this claim. The aim of this article is to provide an interpretation of the colour incompatibility claim in terms of Wittgenstein’s phenomenology. I will focus on two works of great significance for the claim: Some (...)

    Peirce and C. I. Lewis on Quale.Joanna Szelegieniec & Szymon Nowak - 2014 - Polish Journal of Philosophy 8 (2):43-62.
The debates about qualia are common in contemporary analytical philosophy, especially in the area of philosophy of mind or epistemology. Notwithstanding the significance of this notion in present-day investigations, there still appears to be a lack of agreement over how to understand the term “quale”. Due to this fact, our goal is to shed light on the concept of quale as it entered the modern history of philosophy. Strictly speaking, our concern shall be devoted to the American pragmatist philosophy of (...)
