The Preprints of the Ninth International Saga Conference (1994, Akureyri, Iceland) are devoted to the so-called Contemporary Sagas, i.e. the group of Saga narratives written down based on recent events. The contributors discuss philological, historical, ideological, religious and philosophical aspects of Contemporary Sagas. -/- For the citation: Sverrir Tómasson, ed. 1994.
