Abstract
This article discusses the practical importance of modern pedagogical technologies in increasing the vocabulary of military students at the expense of terms. In order to improve the quality of education in military educational institutions, teaching at a high level, at the scientific and pedagogical level, the appropriate use of problematic options in lectures, interesting organization of all lessons in the form of questions and answers. Changes in the structure of the military vocabulary, especially its constant addition, loss of a number of words, changes in meaning are closely related to the continuous development of the general conditions of the armed forces.
