National cultural peculiarities of phraseological units with zoonymic component in English and uzbek languages

Abstract

The article has analyzed national and cultural peculiarities of English and Uzbek phraseological units with an “animal” component. The research analysis showed that phraseological units with an “animal” component came into the English language from various cultures make up the most numerous groups of phraseological units with national and cultural components of semantics.
