Abstract
Identifying the School of São Paulo with the philosophical movement emerging in the capital of the State of São Paulo toward the end of the 1940's and in association with the Brazilian Institute of Philosophy, marked by the thinking of Miguel Reale and Vicente Ferreira da Silva, the author seeks to analyse their reflections on aesthetics, as well as that of figures like Milton Vargas and Luis Washington Vita. The author further seeks to bring to the fore that which distinguishes each one of them and the kind of relationships that they maintained with each other
