This book offers information about what constitutes dishonesty or lying and why it occurs. Based on the author's professional experiences as an attorney and a psychologist, he explains reasons why lying is a human frailty and offers guidance on how a person can detect lies, nip them in the bud, and maintain personal defenses against being treated in a harmful manner. The book is wrapped up with comments about how the control and elimination of influence from dishonest people enhances self-fulfillment, and how this will lead to personal health, happiness, and positive social relationships.
